Career Experience
My career passion is interdisciplinary science integrating social, biological, chemical, and environmental aspects together. I also integrate policy and management to ensure the protection of human and environmental health through holistic approaches. I am currently studying the prevalence of antibiotic resistance in water resources, impacts to human health, and policy gaps in collaboration with the USDA, EPA, and the United Nations. I have had the pleasure of mentoring and training students in environmental science topics as well as college preparation and writing, both in the classroom as well as hands-on in a fieldwork and laboratory capacity. Through my academic and career journeys, I have gained extensive experience in environmental science (chemistry, ecology, biology, geology, hydrology, policy), writing, organization, reading, as well as establishing and nurturing collaborations.
