About

See what students say:

The University of Florida’s online MBA program “has an excellent academic reputation” and students can get their degree in as little as 16 months under the accelerated timeline or in 24 months for those wanting maximum flexibility. As “an early adopter of asynchronous MBA education, UF employs an exceptional framework that gives its online students a near-campus experience.” The lock-step program is broken out into cohorts, which “keeps you on track as you have to take the classes in the order given and [in] a set period of time.” However, the school “recognizes that the majority of students in the online program are working professionals…and truly try their best to be supportive and understanding.” Students say that “deadlines for projects and assignments are given with enough headway to make sure life doesn’t get in the way too much,” and faculty are “quick to respond to student's issues and…solve problems soon after they arise.”
Most professors are “outstanding and very responsive to questions” and are “strong educational leaders with years of experience in both industry and academia.” The program's online platform “is as good as it gets, [and] the use of tools like ‘YellowDig’ incentivizes students to engage in meaningful conversations.” These digital tools “are well-organized and accessible, which makes for a high-quality learning experience,” and the curriculum provides similar distinction, as a student says they are “very impressed with how organized and clear each module is.” Students laud the program’s career-centered focus: “Everything we did and learned was with an eye toward how it would help or impact our careers.”

The online MBA program “has multiple resources for both career development, and mental well-being,” including its own dedicated career coach, who links up with students to advise on job search strategy, professional development, and connecting with UF’s many partner employers. This leads one student to say that the “superb Career Cervices make UF second to none.” Students also can take advantage of in-person events like a Career Exploration Weekend, “great immersion opportunities,” and a Speaker Series. The University of Florida has “extensive recognition and a proven record of having exceptional alumni” who “are passionate and go the extra mile to help students.” And of course, there are networking opportunities among classmates since many of the students “have really good jobs already at highly regarded companies.” As one student happily shares, “The University of Florida Online MBA helped me achieve my goals and accelerate my career trajectory” and they received “a job offer in my desired field with a significant raise.”
