Campus and Location
Nestled within the vibrant heart of Houston, Texas, Rice University boasts a breathtaking 300-acre, tree-lined campus. Situated in America's fourth-largest and most diverse city, with one of the world's youngest and fastest-growing populations, Rice is surrounded by restaurants, museums, theaters, professional sports venues, lush parks and the world's largest medical center.
Facilities
All our faculty, staff and students are located in a single building called McNair Hall. The close proximity creates a strong and caring community. As our programs grow, we have recognized the need to update McNair Hall and provide new experiences for our students and visitors. This has involved renovating the building space and introducing a permanent art collection that is accessible to the public.
Rice Business has partnered with the Moody Center of the Arts to commission artworks primarily created by female artists. These artworks are displayed in our newly renovated halls, aligning with the university's goal of promoting public art on campus.

From The School
We're a tight-knit business school with a distinct learning culture. Our small classes are built around a community where classmates and professors know you by name. Students build camaraderie through various clubs, teams, classes and a beloved tradition of weekly parties called "Partios." All our MBA programs — including our Professional MBA (Evening, Weekend and Hybrid), Online MBA (MBA@Rice) and Executive MBA — learn from the same faculty in the same buildings, and those traditions belong to them too.
Rice Business also earned five top-10 rankings in The Princeton Review's 2027 business school rankings: Best Campus Environment (No. 9), Best MBA for Consulting (No. 8), Best MBA for Finance (No. 7) and Greatest Resources for Minority Students (No. 6). The school also landed the No. 6 national ranking for MBA@Rice, placing it among the nation's best online MBA programs.
