Mattoon Illinois, located just 10 miles west of Charleston, connects the area with bus service to Chicago, Carbondale, and New Orleans. Mattoon also connects the area with rail service to Chicago, Carbondale, and New Orleans. Williard Airport in Urbana provides connecting flights to Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis. Shuttle bus service to locations around town.
