Local Accommodations
A few blocks from Bucknell in the restored downtown area is an antique-filled bed-and-breakfast, the Pineapple Inn (439 Market St.; 570-524-6200). Built in the 1850s, it has an inexpensive to moderate rate that includes a full breakfast and tea in the afternoon. Another bed and breakfast located just a few blocks from campus is The Tawsty Flower (106 S. 4th St., 522-6600)and a third just a little farther on Market Street is the Copper Beech Manor. (17 Market St., 570-524-1460) Many inexpensive and moderate motels and hotels are located in and around Lewisburg, particularly along U.S. Rte. 15.
