Career Experience
I first started tutoring as an undergrad, when the head of tutoring at my college plucked my application out of a pile destined for the library's front desk attendant position and invited me to be a tutor instead. Since then I have acquired over 10 years of tutoring experience, with well over 5 years of experience as a writing tutor at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love helping students figure out how to solve their own problems and become independent learners. I think the best tutors eventually make themselves obsolete to their students because they don't just give their students answers, they actually help their students build knowledge and develop skills too.
