I am an experienced educator and learning technology professional with over 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience in mathematics and higher education. My background includes classroom instruction, one-on-one tutoring, online teaching, and extensive work supporting students and faculty through learning management systems and educational technologies. I specialize in meeting learners where they are, breaking down complex concepts into understandable steps, and creating supportive learning environments that promote confidence and success. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to accessibility, student-centered instruction, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
I Love Tutoring Because
it allows me to connect with students individually and help them overcome the fear and frustration that often comes with learning math. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to slow down, listen, and adapt my approach to each student’s learning style. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student gain confidence, have that “aha” moment, and realize they are capable of understanding the material. Helping students feel comfortable, supported, and empowered in their learning is what motivates me every day.
