After graduating from college, I worked for almost ten years as a technical writer before transitioning into K-12 para-education. While working in public schools, I discovered that I prefer solving problems with students one on one rather than in a classroom setting, and I've started to transition my career towards tutoring.

... there are few things as satisfying as helping someone understand a concept that challenges them. I also enjoy the mental puzzle of reverse engineering the student's perspective to figure out where they're having trouble and then showing them the path towards a solution.
