After graduating from college, I worked for almost ten years as a technical writer before transitioning into K-12 para-education. While working in public schools, I discovered that I prefer solving problems with students one on one rather than in a classroom setting, and I've started to transition my career towards tutoring.

I Love Tutoring Because

... there are few things as satisfying as helping someone understand a concept that challenges them. I also enjoy the mental puzzle of reverse engineering the student's perspective to figure out where they're having trouble and then showing them the path towards a solution.

To me CalSouthern University needs to UPGRADE the website overall, the class discussions and now the tutoring. It IS NOT INTERACTIVE ENOUGH. All we do is email or text. Harvard University has an excellent interactive online program to model from. We pay all this money and all we do is text.
