I have worked as a teaching assistant for students with severe and multiple disabilities in Massachusetts, a preschool teacher in Virginia, and a fourth grade classroom teacher in Vermont!
I Love Tutoring Because
I love the pride students feel when something finally 'makes sense' and helping them get there. I also love to hear the thought process for students - I often have my students talk out loud through their thinking! It helps them to follow their own train of thought and helps me to determine their understanding.
